The National Library of Medicine's clinical trials site contains data on 5200 trials, primarily sponsored by the NIH. The Library plans to add trials sponsored by other federal agencies, by pharmaceutical companies and others in the private sector in 2001.

This easy-to-use program enables users to educate themselves about cancer clinical trials through a step-by-step interactive curriculum. The website was developed by the Coalition of National Cancer Cooperative Groups and its patient advocate members, many of whom are cancer survivors who know first-hand the struggle to learn about treatment options, particularly those that involve clinical trials.

This new site, developed by he National Cancer Institute, provides a single point of entry to the universe of cancer trials information, the tools for navigating this information, and a context for using the information to make decisions about trial participation. The site includes news updates about clinical trials.


Patients, families, students, etc. can contact the NIH at 1-800-4CANCER for answers to any cancer related questions.

This site provides a listing of more than 41,000 industry- and government-sponsored clinical trials as well as new drug therapies recently approved by the FDA. The site is designed to be a resource both for patients interested in participating in clinical trials and for research professionals.

Contains a Clinical Trials Matching System that matches breast cancer patients to clinical trial information in California based on stage of disease, prior treatment, and other specific criteria. Also contains art work and stories from breast cancer survivors describing their experiences with breast cancer treatment.
